| Cristian studies cinema in Buenos Aires and wrote on film theory and criticism from 1978 to 1982 in the magazine “Cuadernos de cine”. In addition to working as a scriptwriter and filmmaker, he teaches in various Argentine film institutes: Universidad del cine (FUC) , Centro de investigación cinematográfica (CIC), Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), as well as in foreign institutions such as the CCC of Mexico, Universidad ORT of Montevideo (Uruguay) and Universidad Veritas de San José of Costa Rica. Moreover, he regularly publishes articles in different specialist magazines. He has built up an extensive filmography in both fiction and documentaries.

| Film and audiovisual arts critic, teacher and researcher. Doctor in Social Psychology. Eduardo directs the PhD in Contemporary Latin American Art in the Fine Arts Faculty, Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Professor of Theory, Analysis and Criticism in Audiovisual Arts on graduate and postgraduate degree courses in Argentina. Guest teacher for postgraduate seminars at national universities and in other countries in Latin America. Jury member at different festivals and curator of various Latin American international festivals.
He directs Arkadin —Estudios sobre cine y artes audiovisuales—, published by the FBA-UNLP, and writes in the magazine El Amante-Cine. Author of Diccionario de Cine (Paidós, 1998); compiler and author of Interrogaciones sobre Hitchcock (Simurg, 2001), Cine Ojo: un punto de vista en el territorio de lo real (2007), El cine clásico (Manantial, 2007) and Hacer Cine: Producción Audiovisual en América Latina (Paidós, in print). He has published more than 150 articles in different academic and specialised publications in both Argentina and abroad. He is the scriptwriter and creator of content for the television series Ficciones de lo real (Canal 7-Argentina).
